To our valued clients, suppliers, drivers and staff. In these uncertain times, Freight and Logistic has been identified as being an essential service.
This means Sunexpress Transport Solutions STS will continue to operate and will remain fully operational.
We like to assure all of you, that we have taken the appropriate steps, to be able to continuation our services.
We have been planning for weeks for various potential outcomes, including the closure of borders and what we need to do as a consequence of the virus.
We have adjusted our administrative operations to a cloud based digital office, so all our staff has access to our systems and data from the comfort or their own home. Our drivers have been instructed to observe and follow the rules of social distancing and use common sense at their daily work. Drivers will no longer hand over their PDA or styluses to obtain signatures. Our POD’s will however show the name of the person who received the goods.
We are asking our customers to be vigilant when booking jobs and ensure that dispatch and receiving staff are available.
To keep the economy going, it is vital that business cash flow is maintained and every body is mind full of the impact of not paying their bills on time. We are all in this health and economic crisis together.
We urge all drivers to get vaccinated now, as there are signs that customers may refuse drivers entry into their premises in the future, if they are not fully vaccinated.
